It can be seen as Takagi’s final blazing expression just three years before his passing, yet there is no trace of his declining health in the performance. Kongo, Takeuchi, and Koyama also deliver ever-shifting, free-spirited playing that supports Takagi. A valuable document from the very last stage of Mototeru Takagi’s career.
